Long Distance Home Phone Service

Anyone can now have the convenience and low cost of GCEC Telecom long distance services. We offer calling plans to suite the occasional caller, or the more frequent user.

Starting with our GCEC Basics Plus Package, it costs you 7¢ per minute for state-to-state calls. That's one flat rate, any time, any day for $4.95 per month. (taxes and fees apply)

Or try the GCEC Basic Savings Package at 9¢ per minute for state-to-state calls, any time, any day with no monthly fee. (taxes and fees apply)

And finally there's the GCEC Unlimited Long Distance Package available to local service customers for domestic voice usage only at $19.95 per month. The Unlimited LD Service can only be provided to residential lines served by a GCEC Telecom switching office. The Unlimited LD Service covers direct-dialed calls to the lower 48 United States. Calls placed to Alaska, Hawaii and foreign countries are priced per minute of use at higher rates. Unlimited LD Service may not be used for dial-up internet access or other data purposes. If usage under this Service is not consistent with typical residential customer usage, at GCEC's sole discretion, GCEC may offer the customer an alternative plan or suspend, restrict or cancel the customer's service without prior notice. Calls that are not consistent with typical residential voice use include but are not limited to: use for general business purposes, commercial facsimile, auto-dialing, resale, call centers and telemarketing. Additionally, usage not consistent with typical domestic residential voice usage occurs when, for a period of two consecutive months, a customer's average monthly minutes of use under the Unlimited LD Service is more than twice the monthly average minutes of use of all other customers with the Service. In the event any calls are identified as falling into one of these restricted categories, GCEC reserves the right to change the service from Unlimited to a per-minute plan. The per-month price for Unlimited LD Service does not include taxes, fees and surcharges. Other restrictions may apply. GCECs Unlimited Long Distance Service is offered for the first six (6) months on a Trial basis. Anytime during the first six months of the Unlimited LD Service, GCEC reserves the right to change the long distance service from Unlimited to a per-minute plan.
